Captured Memories

I grew up in a small town in Ohio. My mama was quite the shutterbug throughout my childhood. We have totes of pictures that she saved throughout the years. We also have hours and hours of home videos that she took. This is where my love for photography and video began.

I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in the field, so I attended Ohio University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Communication. After graduation,  I decided to go back to school for my Masters, so I moved to the big city of Pittsburgh to attend Chatham University. In the fall of 2015, I graduated with my Master of Fine Arts in Film and Digital Technology degree.

After graduation, I launched Captured Memories and have been helping preserve special moments ever since. I have also been teaching photo and video courses for Ohio University since 2015. I currently live in Somerset, Ohio, on a farm with my husband, Zander, and our little love bug, Hudson Lee. You can see some pictures of us hanging out at the beach in South Caronina above.

 

My goal is to offer affordable photography and videography to people looking to capture those special moments. I work throughout the entire state of Ohio. I also love traveling, so I am definitely willing to come to you if you are not in the Buckeye State.
